What is COCHLEA?

ANSWER- The snail-shaped tube (in the inner ear coiled around the modiolus) where sound vibrations are converted into nerve impulses by the organ of Corti

 

WHAT IS SNAIL?

 

ANSWER-  A snail is, in loose terms, an Invertebrate having a soft unsegmented body usually enclosed in a shell.The name is most often applied to land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks.
